Full Description
Former vicarage.
Late 17th century building with end stacks , two storey, attached single storey dairy wing.
Cellar has brick inscribed 1789, probably also date of upper storey of dairy wing.
Extended as two pile house, the additional pile with hipped roof, and modernised 1849.
Meeting room once attached, removed around 1950, see (S1).
Photograph of stripped external face of older pile shows what looks like very late timber framing, possibly with heightening, and cut by 20-pane sash windows.
E. Rose (NLA), 9 May 2005.
