July 2005. Watching Brief.
Monitoring of excavation of footing for new dwelling in the grounds of Gissing Hall Hotel. Contexts 1to 4.
Although the site was in the vicinity of the 17th century Gissing Hall and lay on the line of a street frontage with probable medieval origins, no archaeological evidence to suggest occupation or activity was observed.
