Summary

Metal-detecting in 2005 and 2014 recovered Roman and medieval coins as well as Middle to Late Bronze Age, Late Iron Age to Roman and medieval to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include a Middle/Late Bronze Age chisel; a Late Bronze Age spear fragment; Late Iron Age to Roman brooches; a medieval ampulla, harness mount and harness pendant; a medieval/post-medieval button and book clasp and a post-medieval buckle, harness mount and crotal bell. The Roman coins at this site may be part of a Roman coin hoard, see NHER 41868.
