Map

July 2005. Norfolk NMP.
Two World War Two air raid shelters are visible as earth or vegetation covered structures on aerial photographs (S1) and (S2), centred at TG 5205 0777. The shelters, which appear to be semi sunken, each consist of an elongated mound with a curved or parabolic shape in profile. Each has an entrance at one end, flanked by sandbags or a similar form of protection. More recent aerial photographs demonstrate that they have been levelled since the end of the war.
