Map

April 2005. Attlebridge airfield.
Three sections of a concrete structure were observed. It's function remains uncertain, though it may have been used for a searchlight or gun position. A similar structure was located nearby (NHER 41343).
See (S1) for details.
D. Gurney (NLA), 11 April 2005.

September 2007. Norfolk NMP.
This structure was visible, along with other components, on aerial photographs, such as (S2), consulted during the NMP mapping of the area to the immediate southwest of the Attlebridge airfield site (NHER 3063) for the ALSF project (ENF118570). No additions were made to any of the airfield component sites as the main area of the site falls outside of the ALSF project area and it would be preferable for the site to be dealt with as a whole. The methodology for mapping and recording will potentially differ from project to project, and therefore the entire site must be addressed in its totality.
S. Massey (NMP), 12 September 2007.
