Full Description
August 2005. Norfolk NMP.
A hut or temporary building is visible on aerial photographs (S1), centred at TG 5277 0731. The single storey rectangular structure was presumably associated with the civil defence of Great Yarmouth, or may have acted as an air raid shelter, temporary accommodation, or food station. Several other structures of this type have been identified at Great Yarmouth (e.g. NHER 27431). It was removed before April 1946 (S2).
S. Tremlett (NMP), 2 August 2005.
