Summary

Metal detecting recovered finds dating from the Bronze Age to the post medieval period. These include a Late Bronze Age awl, a Roman Dolphin brooch, part of a medieval buckle and a post medieval crotal bell. Metal-detecting between November-December 2010 recovered a Late Saxon copper alloy disc brooch and harness link, medieval pot mend and coin, post-medieval key fragment.

June-July 2005. Metal-detecting.
1 ?Late Bronze Age awl (see S1).
1 Roman brooch (dolphin).
1 medieval buckle fragment, 1 ?casket binding strip fragment and 1 buckle plate (gilt).
3 medieval/post-medieval vessel fragments (2 leg, 1 drop-handle), 1 lead pot-mend and 1 unidentified object fragment.
3 post-medieval coins, 1 pottery sherd (glazed red earthenware) and 1 crotal bell.
