Map

August 2005. Norfolk NMP.
Cropmarks of undated linear ditches, probably post medieval field boundaries, are visible on aerial photographs (S1) to (S3). These cropmarks are centred on TG 5021 1317. Two parallel curving linear ditch cropmarks extend for up to 210m between TG 5009 1315 and TG 5030 1320. It is likely that they form a field boundary between Nova Scotia Road in the west and the farmyard at Nova Scotia Cottages in the east. Although it is likely that this is a post medieval field boundary, it is not shown on the Caister on Sea enclosure map or later cartographic sources (S4). Other ditch cropmarks, probably also post medieval field boundaries are present further to the north (NHER 27598, 27599).
