Map

August 2005. Norfolk NMP.
Cropmarks of undated linear ditches, probably post medieval field boundaries, are visible on aerial photographs (S1). These cropmarks are centred on TG 4986 1335 and lie to the southeast of Heath Farm. Two parallel linear ditch cropmarks extend for up to 270m on the same alignment as the track to their north that leads to Heath Farm. At their western end they both meet a north to south aligned ditch that leads up to the farmyard. A second north to south aligned ditch extends from TG 4992 1333 to TG 4992 1320. It is likely that these ditches between Heath Farm and Nova Scotia are field boundaries of post medieval date. Other ditch cropmarks, probably also post medieval field boundaries are present further to the south and north (NHER 27597, 27599).
