Summary

In 2004 a large flint flake was found during digging in the back garden of 13 Helena Road. The large bulb of percussion suggests it was hammer struck and it was dated to either the Neolithic or Bronze Age.

November 2004. Found whilst digging in the back garden of 13 Helena Road.
Secondary flint flake. Cortex and flake scars on dorsal side. 66mm by 55mm by 17mm. Prepared platform, slightly battered, 12mm by 32mm. Large bulb of percussion - suggests it was hammer struck. Neolithic or Bronze Age in date.
