Summary

This property should not be confused with Yew Tree Farm (NHER 13275). The house here sits inside a probable medieval moat but itself is of 16th century date. It has three cells, two storeys and attic and is set out in the cross passage plan. The roof burnt in the 1990s so the present one is a modern replacement. Some windows were possibly altered in the 17th century. Casual finds of post medieval pottery and a knife from the garden were recorded in 2007.
