Full Description
September 2005. Norfolk NMP.
Cropmarks of two parallel ditches, possibly defining a trackway of unknown date, are visible on aerial photographs (S1). These cropmarks are centred on TG 4597 1378. Two parallel ditch cropmarks are present on a roughly west to east alignment. They extend intermittently for up to 225m between TG 4586 1379 and TG 4609 1377. The two ditches are spaced up to 6m apart and may define a trackway or possibly a double ditched field boundary. The alignment of the cropmark does not correspond to the post medieval field pattern and its date is uncertain.
J. Albone (NMP), 26 September 2005
