Map

September 2005. Norfolk NMP.
A World War Two building is visible as an extant structure on 1940s aerial photographs (S1) to (S2), centred at TG 5281 0586. It was built after February 1941 (S3) and before March 1944 (S1), and this wartime date for its construction suggests that it may have been a military building. It was located within the former power station complex on Admiralty Road and may have acted as a guardhouse, sentry box or air raid shelter. Later aerial photographs indicate that it was demolished before April 1951 (S4).
