Summary

This flint house with brick dressings probably dates to the 18th century. It has a 20th century tile roof. The flint and brick barn to the rear dates to the 17th or 18th century.

Listing Description:
7 Bridewell Street and barn.
Probably 18th century. Flint with brick dressings. 20th century steep pantile roof with coped gable ends; 2 storeys. Two windows. First floor small modern casements. Ground floor left hand late 19th/early 20th century sash, right hand small fixed-light multipane shop window. Two storey lean-to on right (north end) flint with brick dressings, sashes panelled and moulded door. Adjoining barn at rear: 17/18th century flint with brick dressings; steep pantile roof with gabled ends; queen-post roof trusses.
