Full Description
1973. Stray Find.
Found on Mousehold Heath in "ravine" side in gravels:
2 Palaeolithic flint handaxes and 1 "waste flake".
Seen by T. Clough and E. B. Green (NCM), 1973. Information from (S1).
These discoveries were reported in (S2) and are also listed on (S3) and in (S4) and (S5), although no additional information is given.
One of the handaxes was subsequently donated to the Norwich Castle Museum (NWHCM : 2001.227.3).
