Full Description
October 2005. Norfolk NMP.
Cropmarks of undated, possibly post medieval, field boundary ditches are visible on aerial photographs (S1). These cropmarks are centred on TG 4986 1383. Two ditches are present forming a T-shaped arrangement. A north to south aligned ditch extends for 152m from TG 4889 1390 to TG 4890 1375. A second ditch extends perpendicular to it for 109m to the west from TG 4889 1387 to TG 4878 1386. It is likely that they are field boundaries and that they are of post medieval date. However, they are not marked on the 19th century Ormesby St Margaret tithe map (S2).
