Summary

Metal detecting between 2005 and 2024 recovered a number of metal objects including two Late Saxon Borre-style disc brooches; a medieval figure of a knight (from an altar or piece of furniture), harness mount, 'lid' or cover from a censer/lamp and silver annular brooch and a post medieval buckle, silver cufflink, silver seal matrix and lead weight.

The medieval silver brooch was submitted for consideration as Treasure (Ref: 2023 T1237). The post-medieval cufflink element was disclaimed as Treasure (Ref: 2023 T1238) and returned to the finder.
