Full Description
Early October 2005. Metal-detecting.
Groat of Edward IV, sun and rose issue. EDWARD DI GRA REX AnGL S FRAnC, sun and rose initial mark.
POSVI etc, CIVITAS LOnDOn, sun and rose initial mark.
(S1), 1631, type XXII, 12th February 1483 to April 1483. Good condition.
Only other finds reported are profuse musket balls.
