Full Description
July-August 2005. Metal-detecting in small area.
1 Late Saxon horse harness bridle cheek piece.
2 medieval buckles (inc 1 composite), 1 padlock, 1 ?harness mount, 1 unidentified object (gilt) and 1 furniture binding (gilt).
2 medieval/post-medieval vessel fragments (1 wall, 1 rim), 2 vessel repairs and 1 belt mount.
1 post-medieval spur part, 1 swrod belt hanger, 2 lead weights and 1 iron key fragment.
1 undated ring.

Late Saxon openwork stirrup-strap mount.
7 medieval coins, 1 jetton, 28 sherds of pottery, four buckles, an unusual harness fitting, 2 fragments of lead window came, a folding strap clasp, a bar mount from a strap, a probable horse harness pendant and a lead weight.
1 medieval/post-medieval sherd of pottery, lead weights, copper alloy rings, a copper alloy finger-ring, a swivel for a leash and fragments of copper alloy vessel.
1 post-medieval coin, 4 sherds of pottery, a hooked tag, thimble, harness mount, button, lead weight and three buckles, including an unusual example.
Undatable copper alloy staple.
