Summary

Metal-detecting at this location between 2005 and 2025 recovered Roman, Middle Saxon, medieval, medieval/post-medieval and post-medieval pottery sherds; Roman to medieval lava quern fragments; medieval and post-medieval coins; a medieval jetton and a range of other, undatable and Roman to post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include an undatable copper alloy ring and copper alloy staple; Roman brooches; a Middle Saxon pin; a Late Saxon bridle cheek piece and stirrup-strap mount; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories; medieval harness fittings, a padlock, book or belt mount, possible knife pommel, rotary key, binding from furniture, copper alloy unidentified object, lead window came fragments and lead weight; medieval/post-medieval book clasps, a leash swivel, possible candlestick fragment, copper alloy vessel fragments, copper alloy rings and lead weights and post-medieval thimbles, harness mounts, crotal bells, a spur, lead weights and iron key.

2 medieval buckles, possible harness mount, padlock, gilt binding from furniture and copper alloy unidentified gilt object.
Medieval/post-medieval belt mount, 2 copper alloy vessel fragments and 2 copper alloy possible vessel repairs.
Post-medieval spur side, sword-belt hanger, 2 lead weights and iron key fragment.

28 medieval pottery sherds, 7 coins, 1 jetton, 4 buckles, folding strap clasp, bar mount, probable horse-harness pendant, unusual harness fitting, 2 lead window came fragments and lead weight.
1 medieval/post-medieval pottery sherd, a finger ring, leash swivel, 3 copper alloy vessel fragments, 2 copper alloy rings and 3 lead weights.
1 post-medieval coin, 4 pottery sherds, 3 buckles (including an unusual example), a hooked tag, button, thimble, harness mount and lead weight.

2 medieval/post-medieval hooked book clasps, a possible candlestick fragment, copper alloy vessel fragment and copper alloy 'paper-clip' probable vessel repair rivet.
