Map

November 2005. Norfolk NMP.
Earthworks of a possible post medieval water meadow are visible on aerial photographs (S1). These earthworks are centred on TG 4845 1082. A group of six parallel earthwork banks, separated by five channels, are present within a sub-rectangular field. The banks are up to 8m wide and have a roughly north to south alignment. This field is located on the edge of the marshland adjacent to Decoy Farm. It is likely that the earthworks relate to a post medieval water meadow. The field was pasture in 1988 but it is not clear if the earthworks were still present (S2).
