Map

September 2005. Norfolk NMP.
The cropmarks of a possible rectangular enclosure of unknown, but possibly Iron Age to Romano-British date, is visible on aerial photographs to south of Waxham Road, Sea Palling (S1). This enclosure is located within a wider spread of multi-phase and largely undated cropmarks, see NHER 27099, 39022 and 42037. The site is centred on TG 4377 2646.

The possible enclosure, only three sides of which are visible, is sub-rectangular, with slightly rounded corners and measuring 25m by at least 29m. Although no dating evidence is available, the sub-rectangular shape could indicate a Romano-British or possibly Late Iron Age date.
S. Massey (NMP), 30 September 2005.
