Summary

The cropmarks of a plough-levelled bank of probable post medieval date are visible on aerial photographs to the north of French’s Farm, Waxham. It is possible that this banked feature related to a track leading from the farm.

The cropmarks of a plough-levelled bank of probable post medieval date are visible on aerial photographs to the north of French’s Farm, Waxham (S1). It is possible that this banked feature related to a track leading from the farm. The site is centred on TG 4398 2597. The bank runs from TG 4394 2593 to TG 4402 2601 and is 4 to 6m wide and 107m long.
