Summary

This 17th century timber-framed house has a roughcast exterior and brick faced end wall. It is a long two storey building with a higher west end, although the chimneystack is situated to the east end. It is possible this was once a floored hall house with an added chimneystack and taller parlour block, in which case it would be older.

See (S1) for full listing description.

This sounds very like a possible floored hall house with added chimneystack and taller parlour block, in which case it would be older, note that the listing inspector did not see the interior.

(S3) notes that the tiebeam against the parlour side of the stack was formerly braced, as peg holes show, but at least one of these has been removed in recent times.
