Summary

A possible structure or wreck is visible on aerial photographs. It is located in the inter-tidal zone close to the northern edge of Breydon Water. The form and origin of the structure is not clear and it is may be of post medieval or modern date.

An inter-tidal structure or possible wreck is visible at the northern edge of Breydon Water on aerial photographs (S1). It is located on mud flats adjacent to the flood bank at TG 47515 06385. It exact form of the structure is not clear, but it is roughly triangular in plan and measures 8.5m by 7.5m. It is possible that it is part of a wreck of post medieval to modern date. Other wrecks are located at the edge of Breydon water further to the northeast (NHER 42185 to 42188). It is only visible on aerial photographs dating to October 1945.
