Full Description
September 2005. Norfolk NMP.
The cropmark of a linear ditch of unknown date is visible on aerial photographs, to the north of the Lound Bridge end of the Waxham New Cut, Sea Palling (S1). It is probable that this feature was a former field boundary or drainage channel. The site is centred on TG 4215 2630 and the ditch runs from TG 4206 2627 to TG 4224 2633. This cropmark does not obviously form part of the other two cropmark sites recorded within this field, NHER 42112 and 42116, which are also of unknown date.
S. Massey (NMP), 30 September 2005.
