Map

December 2005. Norfolk NMP.
A cropmark of a rectangular pit, of probable medieval to post medieval date is visible on aerial photographs (S1). This pit is located at TG 4886 0604 on the marshland to the south of Breydon Water. A rectangular pit, measuring 24m long by 8m wide is visible as cropmark. The function of this pit is unknown but its location on the marshland suggests that it is of medieval to post medieval date. It is not visible as an earthwork on earlier aerial photographs when the field was under pasture (S2).
