Summary

This timber framed house has both screens passage and lobby entrances. Some windows are diamond-mullioned, some have shaped mullions. It is a very unusual example of a house dating to around 1590-1620, partly in an antique style and partly up to date. It was clad in brick and the roof replaced in 1910.

17th century timber framed house faced in 20th century brick except rear wall. Later roof; offcentre stack. Two storeys, three bays. Door (now 20th century) in line with chimneystack. Later extensions. Chamfered beams inside.
