Summary

16th century farmstead including a timber framed farmhouse dating from 1555-1565 and a timber framed barn with a York stone threshing floor.

Farmhouse stated to date from 1555-1565; close-set timber frame, wattle and daub, brick bread oven.
Timber framed barn, now appears late 18th century but some panels of wattles may suggest an earlier origin. York stone threshing floor such as often found on Letton Estate.
Sheds have battens as extra insulation, another Letton feature. These are 19th century.
