Map

House. It has a two storey half polygonal bay towards the road. The name Roundhouse is commonly used throughout England to refer to this sort of building. It bears some resemblance to the fully polygonal Roundhouse at Costessey (NHER 42757) and like that building was never a tollhouse despite local legends. It has similarities to Denton Cottage (NHER 42756) and is at the foot of Roundhouse Hill leading up to Denton House (NHER 22397) - was it a lodge for this building? Not shown as such on (S1) but marked on (S2) and (S3) - the latter named in large letters.
