NHER 42763 (Building record) - Barn at The Manor House

To north, barn. 17th century, red brick and pantiles. 4 bays, flint and brick plinth with shallow buttresses with moulded brick caps at corners and either side of offcentre cart doors. Honeycomb vents in south bays. South gable wall has central door flanked by 17th century windows with close spaced iron bars. Parapet gables with kneelers. Owl hole in gable. Opposed butt purlin roof of six irregular bays with struts from tiebeams. See (S1).
This sounds very much as if the building was partly a stable or servant accommodation.
