Summary

A wreck of an unidentified boat is visible close to the north bank of Breydon Water on aerial photographs. Although the type of vessel is not known it is probably of 19th or 20th century date.

A wreck of an unidentified boat is visible in Breydon Water on aerial photographs (S1). This wreck is located at TG 4806 0712 adjacent to the northern bank of Breydon Water. The vessel is aligned roughly northeast to southwest. It is not completely visible but measures at least 13m (43 feet) long by 3m (10 feet) wide. Although it is not possible to determine the type of vessel, it is probably of 19th or 20th century date. Further wrecks are located to the southwest (NHER 42383 and 42185) and northeast (NHER 42186, 42187 and 42188).
