Summary

Two Neolithic flint axeheads were found at this location in 2005. A fieldwalking and metal-detecting survey of part of this field in 2008 recovered a number of post-medieval to modern metal objects. Metal-detecting in 2015 recovered an undated casting jet.

Full Description

Before 26 November 2005. Stray Find.
1 Neolithic part-polished flint axehead and 1 flaked flint axehead.
Identified by P. Robins (NCM), see list and descriptions in file.
The Neolithic flaked axehead is one of two reported by the same finder at the same time, one of which was from this field and the other from NHER 42833. It is uncertain which one was from which location.

March-April 2008. Systematic Fieldwalking and Metal-detecting Survey.
Field survey on proposed route of Sheringham Shoals Offshore Windfarm Grid Connection (Field 20).
Finds from this field were limited to metal objects of post-medieval to modern date.
