Full Description
January 2006. Norfolk NMP.
Earthworks of linear and curvilinear drainage ditches or channels of probable medieval to post medieval date are visible on aerial photographs (S1). These earthworks are centred on TG 4560 0518 in an area of former marshland. A section of linear ditch in the southern part of this group at TG 4585 0509 is marked on the 1841 Reedham tithe map (S2). It is likely that the linear drainage ditches are of post medieval date. The curvilinear sections of ditch may have originated as natural channels and are possibly of medieval date.
