Summary

Metal detecting recovered a variety of medieval and post medieval finds. These include an incomplete medieval padlock and a 16th or 17th century strap end. There are still fragments of the leather strap in the strap end. A gold Iron Age quarter stater, post medieval coins and a token were also found. Metal-detecting in November 2010 recovered Early Saxon great headed square brooch, medieval buckle frame, thimble, post-medieval purse bar, toy cannon, and crotal bell as well as Romano Britsh, medieavl, post-medieval coins.
