Summary

Archaeological trial trenching here in 2006 revealed two probable drainage gullies of unknown date. A single sherd of Grimston-type ware pottery was recovered from the subsoil, as was a 19th century musical instrument similar to a mouth-harp.

Evaluation of proposed development site. Contexts 1-13.
Three trenches were excavated and revealed two undated probable drainage gullies. A single sherd of Grimston-type ware pottery was recovered from subsoil, as was a 19th century musical instrument similar to a mouth-harp.
No further archaeological finds, features or deposits were present.
