January 2006. Norfolk NMP.
A World War Two air raid shelter is visible on aerial photographs within the rear garden of 46 Nelson Road, Gorleston (S1). This shelter is visible as an earthen covered mound, measuring 2m square, and is probably an Anderson shelter, and this would have been for the use of the family living in the property. The site is centred on TG 5261 0369.
