Summary

A World War Two barbed wire enclosure is visible on aerial photographs in 1944 on the site of St Benet Road, Gorleston. The purpose of this defence is not obvious from the available aerial photograph evidence. This site is located to the immediate west of a group of World War Two air raid shelters (NHER 42310).
