Listing Description:
Probably 18th century. Plastered. Red brick end wall. Pantile roof with gabled ends. Two storeys. Two windows. Two and 3-light casements. Ground floor left-hand doorway in splayed bay. Right hand 3-light sash in panelled and glazed door with entablature over.
Information from (S1).

Unusual timber framed house. Summary of evidence suggests a two storeyed house with timber framed smoke bay at south gable, unglazed first floor windows, probably two cell; probably late 16th century. However, the front wall was rebuilt in brick in the 19th century and contains elements of timber framing that do not belong; are they imported? Subdivision into two cottages with stacks around 1780. 19th century work also included new roof, and rear outshut possibly for industrial purposes.
