Summary

A pair of possible World War Two air raid shelters is visible on aerial photographs within the back garden of 12 Marine Parade, Gorleston (S1) and (S2). The site is centred on TG 5283 0323. The probable shelters are visible as two oval, earthen or vegetation covered mounds, measuring 6m by 2m. It is possible that these are Anderson shelters or similar covered shelter designs.
