Map

January 2006. Norfolk NMP.
Earthworks of linear and curvilinear drainage ditches of probable medieval to post medieval date are visible on aerial photographs (S1). These earthworks are centred on TG 4760 0539 in an area of former marshland. The alignment of these drainage ditches is broadly similar to that of the extant drainage pattern. However, none of these ditches are marked on the 1843 Burgh Castle tithe map (S2). It is likely that these drainage ditches are of medieval to post medieval date.
