August 1989. Listed, Grade II.
Listing Description excerpt:
"Terrace of 20 houses, now mostly commercial premises. 1848-1855. By JJ Scoles. Brick, partly stuccoed. Roof is a mixture of slate and concrete tiles. Three storeys and basement with four-storey end pavilions of two bays and a centre four-storey pavilion four bays wide. The pavilions with hipped roofs, otherwise the terrace is gabled. Eight full-height canted bays at regular intervals. Each property a two-window range. Rusticated ground floor pierced by a round-arched door and window to each house...First floor with a cast-iron balcony and two French doors to each property under stuccoed pediments. Stuccoed architraves to second-floor windows. Eaves cornice with modillions. Flat-topped 20th-century dormers at intervals. Transverse ridge stacks at intervals.
INTERIOR: kitchen ranges formerly in cellars. Rear of ground floor with scullery. Four-panelled doors. Stick-baluster staircases with turned newels."
