Summary

This early 19th-century red brick shop was originally built with residential accommodation above the ground floor. The four storey building has a slate roof. No. 8 has an early 20th-century plate glass shop front and No. 7 has a transomed window associated with the Two Necked Swan Public House (NHER 43010) next door. Inside there is an early 19th-century plaster cornice and a palmette frieze.

Listing Description excerpt:
"Shop with residential accommodation above. Early 19th century. Red brick under a slate roof. Four storeys; two-window range. No.8 has an early 20th-century plate-glass shop front and No.7 has a transomed window associated with the Two Necked Swan Public House adjacent [NHER 43010]...Hipped roof with a central transverse stack. The south return has a two-light early 20th-century display window with arched glazing bars.
INTERIOR: ground floor and cellar of 20th-century character. The first-floor east room has an early 19th-century interlace plaster cornice and a palmette frieze."
