Full Description
February 1987. Listed, Grade II.
Barn, dated 1737. Eastern wall rebuilt in the 19th century. Red brick with glazed headers and thatch. Three stead barn, with outshut to west and lower extension to south. Datestone reads I.G. 1737.
Information from (S1).
A. Cattermole (NLA), 30 January 2006.
The datestone of 1737 had vanished before 1999 due to the wall having collapsed. The Listing is wrong in stating that one end is a 19th century rebuilding; the original brickwork is present covered by paint.
(S2) in file.
E. Rose (NLA), 24 July 2006.
