Summary

A single rubbish pit containing mid 19th to early 20th century clay pipe stems was recorded during archaeological observations of drainage improvements. Post medieval to modern transfer print china and undiagnostic animal bone were also recovered.

Undertaken during remedial work on existing works and a new pumped valve chamber. Contexts 1-5.
One small rubbish pit containing three pieces of mid 19th- to early-20th century pipe stem was recorded. Post-medieval to modern transfer print china, clay pipe stems, and undiagnostic animal bone were also recovered from the lowest deposit encountered in the chamber hole.
