Map

August 2002. Norfolk NMP.
Earthworks possibly medieval to post medieval in date located on coastal saltmarsh and visible on Ordnance Survey aerial photographs from 1968 (S1). These consist of two L-shaped ditches, which may be part of a rectilinear enclosure up to 80m by 40m. Within the middle of these two linears is a single ditch, which almost joins with the western L-shaped feature. It is possible that these ditches are part of a phase of enclosure or land improvement or drainage on the saltmarsh, possibly dating to the late medieval to post medieval period.
S. Massey (NMP), 16 August 2002.
