Full Description
April 2002. Norfolk NMP.
Cropmark curvilinear ditch of unknown date, visible on RAF aerial photographs from 1946 (S1) and (S2). Group of four curvilinear ditches. Two of which overlap each other and probably represent re-cutting of the original ditch, the longest of these is approximately 150m long. The remaining two ditches follow the curve of the first and are probably part of the same feature. These are ditches may form a boundary of some sort. It appears to be cut by a large linear (26822), which appears to be part of the post medieval land boundaries in the area. Suggesting this curvilinear is at least earlier than that phase of land division.
S. Massey (NMP), 18 April 2002.
