Map

April 2002. Norfolk NMP.
Group of earthworks visible on Ordnance Survey vertical aerial photographs from 1967 (S1). Irregular, ovoid depression visible in saltmarsh, measuring approximately 90m by 50m. Positioned within this are three oblong/oval pits, all around 9m by 3.5m. The surrounding depression may be the result of extraction at some sort. The inner pits are similar to the post medieval oyster beds located to the immediate north (NHER 1460). It is possible that these are related features of a similar date.
S. Massey (NMP), 24 April 2002.
