January 1977. Listed, Grade II.
Listing Description excerpt:
"House and shop. Early 19th century house. Painted brick. Brick pilasters. Slate roof with moulded coping to gable ends, and modillion eaves cornice. Two storeys and attic. Three windows wide with elliptical heads with dripmoulds, elliptical headed sashes with intersecting glazing bars. Central doorway with rectangular dripmould, elliptical fanlight and 20th century glazed door. Two brick flues. 20th century shop windows at end facing Church Street.
Wing at rear facing Church Street, No 7 Church Street, now one with Fairland House. 18th century roughcast, steep pantile roof with gabled ends and modillion moulded eaves cornice two storeys and attic (small attic window in gable end), three first floor 18th century two-light mullion/transom casements, ground floor two modern small shop windows."
