Summary

A pair of early 19th-century cobbled flint houses with painted brick dressings and a slate roof with stepped gable ends. The building is two storeys high and has three window bays, though the central one on the first floor has, instead of a window, a rounded niche containing a sculpted figure on a pedestal. There is a central arched doorway with two doors and modern porches.

Listing Description:
"Pair of Houses. Early 19th century. Flint cobbles with painted brick quoins and window and door surrounds. Slate roof with stepped gable ends. Brick dentil eaves. Two storeys. Three bays, centre first floor round-headed niche in place of window with sculptured figure on pedestal, round-headed Gothic sashes with intersecting glazing bars, in brick quoin surrounds. Central arched doorway with two doors, No. 9 has Gothic panelled door, 20th century porches. Brick chimney stacks over gable ends."
