Summary

Cropmarks of four parallel linear ditches of unknown date are visible on aerial photographs. These ditches cut across a group of enclosure cropmarks of possible Roman date (NHER 43315).

Cropmarks of parallel linear ditches of unknown date are visible on aerial photographs (S1). These cropmarks are centred on TF 7417 3895. Four linear ditch cropmarks are present on a slightly curving roughly parallel southwest to northeast alignment. Two of these extend for up to 290m to the northeast of the Ringstead to Docking road, with the remaining two being shorter in length. These cropmarks cross a group of rectilinear enclosures of possible Roman date (NHER 43315) but their origin is unknown.
